Capital Assault Operations are high risk / high reward attacks that are only accessible to experienced players. A Capital Drop Assault is meant as an initial attack designed to secure a foothold on a capital planet in order to gain access to the ground attack mission (Capital Ground Assault. The two capital assault operations are the only operations able to attack capital planets. Due to the fact that units are being deployed via dropship, only Meks are available to the attacker, while the defender has unrestricted access to tanks and infantry.
Note: This is the only operation that must only be launched "offworld" as such if a team has no path to their own homeworld, they can only defend these missions.
